Singing bowls
Ancestral vibrational instruments forged from an alloy of seven metals, for energetic reharmonisation, emotional release and deep meditation.
The earliest traces of singing bowls date back nearly 5,000 years before our era. In the Himalayan regions, their use originates in Bön shamanism, an animist tradition that grew richer along the caravan routes through contact with Tibetan Buddhism. Today mainly crafted in Nepal and India, these traditional instruments - often called “Tibetan bowls” - are renowned for their benefits to body and mind.
Hand-forged according to ancestral craftsmanship, each bowl is made from an alloy of seven metals. Always paired with a mallet, singing bowls emit and diffuse sounds and vibrations that vary with their composition, thickness and hammering, giving each one a unique tone and vibrational frequency.
Therapeutic virtues
There are several families of singing bowls - such as Zam, Scanner, Lingam, Lunar or blown bowls. Each has a specific vibrational quality, suited to a precise need during a treatment. According to the medicine of the soul, singing bowls work on overall reharmonisation and on raising the vibrational rate - whether of a person, a place, an object or a food.
Singing bowls rebalance the subtle bodies and support deep well-being through vibrational work:
- Emotional release and memory deprogramming: they help dissolve blockages and restore energetic flow.
- Space purification: they cleanse the atmosphere by clearing stagnant or negative energies (through the practice of “Shang”, dedicated to cleansing and harmonising a place).
- Deep meditation: their vibrations and sounds support grounding and facilitate mindfulness.
